Measuring Capacity...

We have been learning to measure capacity. The capacity of a container is how much it can hold. Here are some photos of us measuring the capacity of different containers…

Here we are measuring how many spoonfuls of rice can fit into this bowl. We found out that this bowl can hold 41 spoonfuls of rice.

Here we are measuring how many fingerprints it takes to fill up the whole page. We found out that it took 45 thumbprints to fill the whole page.

Here we were measuring how many spoonfuls of water it took to fill this bowl. We found out that this bowl can fit 50 spoonfuls of water.
