Guess what I could see from my balcony yesterday afternoon Room 2... a huge cruise liner. It was absolutely massive! I wonder how long this ship would be? How could we find out?

Award Winners

Well done to our award winners for our first assembly. Great Work!!

Our Water Day!

Gorgeous sun and clear blue sky = perfect weather for our Water Day! 

We had to make sure we had our hats, t-shirts and lots of sunblock. 

Miss Head was taking the dry station for children who couldn't get wet or needed a break to dry up for a bit.

We had bats, balls, juggling sticks and lots of other cool equipment to play with!

We had bubbles, sponge wars, sprinklers, paddling pools and we even had a water slide.

Our dry station didn't seem so appealing at first...We had a couple of children to start with...

Then we had a few more children come to investigate...

Then we became more and more popular as the day went on...

Cool ears!

We had some special furry visitors come to visit us today...

Pat and Sara brought their baby guinea pigs to school and were kind enough to come and visit us in Room 2! They were super soft and cuddly...

My name is Catherine. I like feeding George, my lamb sheep, nuts and grass.

My name is Kimberlee. I like to go on rides and I like to do scrapbooking. I like parties. I’ve got 8 people in my family.

My name is Isabella. I like eating ice-cream. I also like dancing.

My name is Yasemin and in my family there is Terran, Hiko and Sharon. I like doing gymnastics.

My name is Edward and I like building Lego. It is fun.

My name is Tyrone and I have 9 people in my family.

My name is Josie. I like ice-cream. I have a brother and his name is Keith. I have a sister and her name is Penny.

My name is Daniel and I like playing videogames. My favourite one is Minecraft.

My name is George and I like to go shopping for shoes. When I’m 7 I get some Nike shoes!

My name is Ethan and I like swimming. I like building Lego.

My name is Ben and I like catching eels.

Library Time!

Our library days in Room 2 are Wednesday and Friday. Please remember to bring your library book back to school tomorrow and put it in the green library box next to the reading cave. You will not be able to get a new library book if you have not returned your old one.

In Room 2 we love to read!

Swimming!

What a beautiful day to go swimming! Check out the clear blue sky. Everyone remembered their togs too, good job Room 2!

We started by kicking from the side of the pool. Then we showed Miss Head how to get into the pool safely. Here are some photos of us splashing around...
